【STORY】
"這雖然是游戲，但可不是鬧著玩（これは、ゲームであっても、游びではない）"
2022年，大廠牌電子機械制造商"ARGUS"開發出－"NERvGear"－能連結虛擬世界的機器。完全的虛擬實境終於能夠實現。
主人公桐谷和人是使用NERvGear游玩VRMMORPG"Sword Art Online"的玩家。很幸運的參與過封閉測試，並買下正式版的和人，和正式營運就馬上"完全潛行"的9千5百名玩家一起，享受著正式版的SAO世界。
但感動是短暫的，四小時多後，和人發現到封測時確實存在的"登出"指令竟然消失。認為只是系統暫時出錯的和人以及開始陷入混亂的所有玩家一起被傳送到開始地點廣場，但頭上傳來的不是等待許久的故障公告，而是自稱SAO游戲設計者的"茅場晶彥"淡淡開始的死亡游戲說明：不能登出是游戲的正常現象，只有打倒位於"艾恩葛朗特"頂樓，第100層的頭目－達成"完全攻略"－才是離開這個世界唯一的方法。並且，在游戲內Game Over或是嘗試脫下NERvGear，玩家會立刻被NERvGear發出的高出力微波破壞腦部而死亡。
因為恐懼的影響，最初的一個月內死亡人數就突破了2000人，然而玩家們終究習慣了這個"真實存在的異世界"，兩年後的今日，尚有6000名玩家存活，最前線已推進到第74層……

這個版本與VCB-S版的區別:
・TV正片日配由日版BD的16bit替換為UK版的24bit。
・TV正片添加無損英配,官方英文字幕(包括UK BD版和USA BD版兩個版本的字幕),日配評論音軌也有英文字幕(目前評論音軌尚無中文字幕)。
・TV正片添加TVB的粵配和對應TVB粵配的中文字幕,來自台版DVD的轉為320K MP3的國配。
・Menu這個因為在不做降噪的前提下,壓制體積BDRIP和BDMV沒啥區別,做了降噪體積能小不少,但是對比原盤改變明顯,所以全部采用remux,每個視頻包括TypeA&B兩個版本。全部18個remux的Menu總計13.5GB,這個作為可選下載內容。
・Preview添加英配和USA BD版英文字幕
・Sword Art Offline 1-5替換16bit日配為德版BD的24bit日配,1-9全部添加USA BD版英文字幕。
・CD上添加了限定版的DVDISO,FLAC轉為TAK,修正部分Cue,額外增加Hollow Fragment和Infinity Moment兩張CD,部分CD有多個版本的掃圖。
・掃圖增加了Hollow Fragment和UK BD的掃圖。
目前因為片源缺失只能使用目前現有資源將就處理:
・缺失Sword Art Online德版BD Vol.3-4,該BD包含Sword Art Offline 6-9的24bit日配,故這個仍為16bit日配。
・缺失Sword Art Online台版DVDBOX,該DVDBOX包含未被二壓的國配,和官方對應日配的中文字幕。
・ユメセカイ 初回生産限定盤,這個目前未找到初回版掃圖,只能用通常版的將就。
