【內容介紹】
「罪惡王冠（Guilty Crown）」的舞台設定在2039年的東京，一邊抱著抑郁的心情，一邊對世間投去冰冷的視線的17歲主人公櫻滿集，在天王洲第一高校上學的高校2年生，與同班同學都保持著一定的距離，只是過著漫然、平穩的日子。 罪惡王冠（Guilty Crown）[1]在學校小休時，從耳機傳來的卻是少女的歌聲。原來在10年前，日本突然爆發並蔓延了不明病毒「Apocalypse(默示錄)」，使日本陷入了大混亂之中。隨著GHQ的裝甲車的速度提升，恐怖襲擊的新聞正從電視機上傳來，想著沒有什麼能做的集，他的不穩的日常生活便在放學後的給打破了，因為他遇上了少女楪祈。
楪祈是集憧憬著，在網絡上擁有絕大影響力的歌姫，但她的另一個身份卻是一直鼓吹「日本之解放」，即使賭上性命仍繼續者與GHQ孤獨抗爭的反抗組織「葬儀社」。而祈，正是由17歲的年輕首領恙神涯所率領的「葬儀社」的成員之一。這個「印」，能夠從人的身體取出稱作「Void(虛空)」的物質，作為武器而戰斗。但是，背負著這個能力所要付出的代價將會是以朋友為武器戰斗。那是集戴上的「罪惡王冠（Guilty Crown）」。
