「櫻花莊的寵物女孩」是由鴨志田一創作、溝口ケージ負責插畫的輕小說作品。該作在去年被草野ほうき改編成漫畫，目前正於「電擊G's magazine」連載中。該作也在去年發表了廣播劇化的決定，並預定在今年6月28日發售。故事的主人公是就讀水明藝術大學附屬高中的學生神田空太，在一年級的夏天，因為他在宿捨養貓而被校長叫去問話，並要他把貓趕走，不然就搬出宿捨。身為愛貓一族的空太，企圖反抗權威，結果自己被攆出宿捨，流落到惡名昭彰的櫻花莊。 隔年春天，隨著世界級天才畫家椎名真白搬進了櫻花莊，空太便開始過著被這名缺乏常識的少女耍得團團轉的日子。
