《追逐繁星的孩子》（日語：星を追う子ども -Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below-），是日本導演新海誠繼《秒速5厘米》之後新制作的一部動畫電影，於2011年5月7日在日本公開上映。藍光與DVD於2011年11月25日在日本開始發售。
故 事
有一天，少女明日菜從父親遺物裡的礦石收音機中聽到不可思議的音樂。那如人心靈般的音樂，令明日菜難以忘懷。在前往山丘的途中，明日菜被怪異的怪獸所襲擊，並被一名叫瞬的少年所救。瞬是為了看見一直想要遇見到的人和物，從遙遠的雅戈泰而來。就在兩人日漸心靈相通之時，瞬突然於明日菜的生命裡面消失了。
明日菜被告知哀痛的消息後，學校的新任教師森崎龍司於校裡講述了有關地下世界的神話。那裡隱藏的秘密，就是所謂實現願望的地方，被稱為雅戈泰。在此同時，明日菜面前出現了跟瞬長得一模一樣的少年，還有一眾追捕少年的人。那些人們的狙擊是為了得到那通往雅戈泰之鑰匙--歌薇絲。正當走到末路之時，少年和明日菜面前通往雅戈泰的門被打開了。
之後，明日菜發現了那群男人的首領，竟然就是為了再見到死去的妻子而不斷尋找雅戈泰的森崎龍司，還有那位少年原來就是瞬的弟弟心。 站在雅戈泰的入口前，明日菜暗地許下了決定："想要再一次，見到那個人。"
特殊名詞介紹
歌薇絲
特殊礦石的結晶，是打開雅戈泰世界入口的鑰匙。由於使用者不同而出現形形色色的效果。
在世界存在數個，電影中出現的是其中兩個。歌薇絲是拉丁語中鑰匙的意思。
雅戈泰
地下的神秘世界。2萬年前跟克查爾特一起潛入地下的氏族到現在仍在雅戈泰生活。
由於在雅戈泰仍存在已經消失的神明的智慧，地上的帝王和皇帝們為追逐雅戈泰的智慧和財寶而潛入地下世界。
但是他們每次的入侵都帶來無數的戰亂，無法忍受的雅戈泰人在地上和地下之間做了個大門封鎖地上人的侵入。
克查爾特
在人類發祥的初期階段出現在地上世界，給予人類精神及文化引導的神明。
在人類成長之後，部分克查爾特察覺已經完成任務，留下守衛潛入地下。長時間停留在地上的某些克查爾特由於受大氣污染等原因，失去了心而變得非常凶暴。
亞得利科
含有神之子的動物，其真面目是克查爾特精神的一部分轉移到動物裡面的。與人類一起成長，完成任務以後生命即結束，成為克查爾特的一部分永遠生存下去。
咪咪身為亞得利科的任務是引導明日菜，它在把明日菜引導到阿瑪樂之後生命就結束了。
夷族
憎惡光與水、被詛咒的種族。他們憎惡雅戈泰與外界過於密切的交往，因為不能放過雅戈泰人與地上人的混血而抓走真奈和明日菜。他們不是人類，而是從地下積累的人的消極念頭而衍生出像沉澱物般的存在。
謝庫納·威瑪納
在雅戈泰的空中不斷巡游的一艘巨大的船，被雅戈泰的居民稱作"神明之船"。
其真面目是身體上有無數眼睛，掌管著死亡的巨大克查爾特。他能打開棲息靈魂的次元雅思特拉裡的入口，也能把靈魂搬運到雅思特拉裡。
菲尼斯·特拉
通往雅思特拉裡的雅戈泰的天涯海角。它的最下方存在克查爾特的墓場，以及相連到雅思特拉裡的生死門。死亡之前的克查爾特會走到菲尼斯·特拉，透過歌聲把所有的記憶寄托、留在世界裡，然後逝世。
雅思特拉裡
所有生命的終點。雅戈泰人認為死亡不是消失，而是融化到雅思特拉裡，所以接受死亡。雅思特拉裡也是沒有星星的雅戈泰裡唯一存在星星的世界。
